I've been thinking about my biography bit on this site. Honestly, my nickname does mean yarn and I do wind up going from point A to B thru Z but I thought it might be a good idea to develop what I mean by point A.
When I say point A it means where I leave my laptop or (in more cliche terms) where I hang my hat. I live in two different towns in Maryland, one in the west and one in the east, and when I wasn't in either one then my point A was a temporary one. I decided that I should post what few photos of point A that I have.
When I was in Tokyo...
1. my Hotel room the first night
2. When I finally made it to the dorm
When I was in Russia...
1. St. Petersburg (Hotel Ladoga)
2. Moscow... Sadly, I don't have photos of this temporary point A but all I can say is that it was small and that I nearly killed myself trying to get out of the bathtub because of how high the sidewalls were. ><
When I was in China...(Most of these are views from my hotel rooms.)
1. Beijing
2. Xi'an. Sadly, no photos but I can tell you that right across the street was a little convinece store that sold EXTREMELY cheap beer.3. Shanghai. No photos but considering that I was within walking distance from Nanjing street, my lack of hotel photos makes sense.
4. Shengzheng.
When I was in Hong Kong...Our hotel was rather swanky. It was huge and near the Temple Street Night Market.
* Over all, Chinese hotel rooms are small (for Japan, this varied).
- my semi-permanent point A's may get posted later but enjoy these for now.
