Its been too long since I've posted. I hate and understand that my work has to come first but it does prevent me from writing new and different things. If you are wondering what is the deal with my title, understand I'm a peculiar plant person. Over the summer I took to growing plants from seeds and now I have what could be considered a small garden at my Western Shore point A. After all, there's only so many plants that can be kept at my Eastern Shore point A.

No matter how zealously watered this small garden is, I'm grateful to see them thriving. I've recently picked some of the basil leaves and I forgot how good that plant smelled. I think pesto making may be in order. I'm trying to figure out how to care for my Celosia plant, Beatrice, she hasn't been looking all that well. I look forward to replanting and encouraging further growth and figuring out how to encourage Beatrice along.

Turkey Day in my family's home does not consist of eating Turkey. Instead, I make curry and rice. I'm looking forward to cooking and not dealing with the push to finish papers. I just want to slow down and set a comfortable pace to get a dent in my work.

Over all, I'm grateful for this break.
